Vans is once again bringing into the scene some fresh colors right from the vault. This is for their iconic Mountain Edition Low which was already featured in various texture materials and colors. But these latest Lows come in a total of three colors with each a good mix of nubuck and uppers in leather.

The first pair features a gray and gray combo. This means that its uppers are in gray with the color hints to give contrast in gray as well. It has interesting shoe laces done in green and black that is bright along with the Vans label right on the rear of the midsole. The next one is in black and gray colorway with some accents of royal blue. The last pair is in brown and black with hints of red. These first two have white vulcanized soles with the last pair utilizing black.

Recently, we’ve gotten some good looks at how the Vans team has drawn from and applied certain cultural influences to its shoe line. Here’s some more. After last year’s successful collaboration between Vans and Japan’s FLAUGE, the Deconstruct Vans Sk8-Hi returns in burgundy, black, and grey. As one might be able to deduce from the sneaker model’s nickname, the Vans Sk8-Hi Deconstruct was freed of padding to result in a more lightweight frame and has the Vans stripe logo only embroidered in the same color as the upper to give a “one piece” feel to it. Vans would always remain great especially when it comes to collaborations with very popular brands. They help spread some more love for sneakers especially the skate shoes to many sneaker fans and non-fans alike. Now we have something that would serve as a part of their upcoming Vans Vault Fall 2010 Collection.

Vans have recently made a collaboration with Filson, which is an outfitter brand. They will use the Sk8 Hi as their base and you would really find this collaboration very interesting. The uppers for these shoes are made in heavy duty tan canvas along with some dark brown leather. It results into a shoe that is not so luxurious looking but it is ideal for street or casual wear as well. Its uppers are topped off with the waxed laces. They have also created a rucksack that would match the shoes and make everything look nice. Cool aren’t they?

If there is a VANS collection that really grabbed a lot of attention with its newly designed models, then it has to be the Vans OTW Collection. During the early parts of May, you have seen the complete Vans Bedford Lineup that will be released this year.

Here we have a Bedford that features a base in russet color. It is made out of combined nubuck and textured leather. To be particular, the nubuck is seen right on the toe area, all throughout the midfoot and other sections of the side panels. The perforated square and textured leather is seen apparent right on the side panels and collar sections.

To top it all off, these shoes carry a monochromatic inner lining, along with its laces and sits on a white vulcanized rubber sole. You can search for this sneaker in a variety of Bedford colors. You can check it out at stateside retailers very soon.
