After teaming up with Supreme to work on a number of classic silhouettes including the Chukka ’95, the Vans team keeps to itself with this pack. A lot of states on the East coast are still waiting for sustained temperatures of warmth although it is officially April. Perhaps this Aloha pack is a way for the Vans Vault team to bring some of that heat to us. By borrowing inspiration from the generic idea we have formed of tropical islands and such things as island shirts, Vans Vault has is set to release the Sk8 hi Reissue in an orange and a blue colorway with several accenting features. Furthermore, there are two low-top versions of said colorways by way of the Era Lx, as well as a third Era LX in a brown hue. Each shoe is set to drop as part of the Vans Vault Spring/Summer 2011 offerings.

We know that some of what the Vans Vault collection of this upcoming Fall season includes a “Day of the Dead” pack and a couple of pairs of the Old Skool silhouette. But we have just finished learning that a collaboration will also be on display. The outdoors label Filson has recently been working with the Vans Vault team to produce brown/tan/white pairs of the Sk8-Hi LX and 46 LX. This collection is already available from certain Vans Vault retailers in-store and online.

The first silhouette we brought you a look at from the Vans Vault MLB “Opening Day” Collection was the Vans Vault Chukka LX designed for the Chicago White Sox enthusiasts. Several teams later, we finally have a look at the shoe designed for this city’s National League baseball team. Pictured here is the Chicago Cubs version of a Vans Vault Chukka LX, fully equipped with the logo near the heel and Chicago Cubs blue along the entire upper. Red and white accents can also be seen sparingly throughout, while the entire shoe sits on an all-white sole. This model is also being limited to only 12 pairs and a matching jersey will also be made available for purchase. This time around, it will be the city’s St. Alfred shop that will have these for sale come April 12th.

I used to write for the Major League Baseball jerseys and now I can’t still believe that even on a shoe blog I am still hunted by the past. I am not saying that I don’t like my past job because in fact I love it. However, baseball is still quite far-fetched for me that’s why having things that can remind me of the game is a good thing. We already saw the Vans silhouette featuring other MLB team such as east coast Boston Red Sox and west coast Chicago White Sox. Now let’s look at the Oakland Athletics’ version of the Vans Vault Chukka LX. This particular sneaker utilized suede of black color for its base as well as the typical white, vulcanized sole. The uppers has a grey piping along the midfoot and inner lining while the Oakland A’s logo can be found on the lateral side. In limited quantity at Oakland retailer Bows & Arrows, check out now this shoe with complimentary limited edition Majestic Authentic Jersey.

We all know Boston Red Sox fans hate them. We all know of the animosity towards them that will most likely always exist instinctively within fans of the New York Mets. And now it seems as though the Philadelphia Phillies‘ fan base can be included in that list. But nevertheless, the New York Yankees are once again champions of MLB and is this time being honored with the Vans Vault Old Skool LX pictured here. Designed with a white base, the famous Yankee pinstripes in dark blue then drape down throughout the entire upper as well, while the NY logo can be spotted on the heel. This particular release will also be limited to 12 pairs and have an accompanying matching jersey that is also purchaseable from Dave’s Quality Meat (DQM) in New York City on April 13. Some of what the Vans brand had in store for us in 2010 included a Spring City Pack, that picked up where City Packs of the past left off. This time around, however, Vans honors the city of Chicago in a slightly different way. Vans has decided to team up with Major League Baseball to the tune of a collection of Vans sneakers commemorating opening day of different MLB teams. Pictured here is a Vans Vault Chukka LX that has been done-up in the Chicago White Sox theme. As of now, this sneaker is limited to twelve pairs, with a matching baseball jersey, and will be made available next Monday, April 5th, from one specific location. In August, we brought you an early look at a Chukka Mok Collection to be released sometime in the fall. Well, we now bring you word that the Vans Vault crew has begun to release these shoes, and we bring you a look at the complete collection. You already saw the two high-top pairs coming in brown and black. We also have pictures of their complementary low-top Chukka models. Every shoe comes with suede uppers, white soles, and a stitching pattern that meets between the sole and upper and runs around the entire shoe. As we mentioned before, this Mok collection is here just in time to help with the season’s frigid weather. Check-in with your local Vans retailers to get your hands on these.
