A couple of months ago Nike created the Nike 78 project, in which Nike gave out shoes to 78 different artist with the mission to entirely change up the shoe. Nick Marsh was one of the artist selected, his design of the Wii Nike Air Max 93 created quite a buzz. Now we all seen shoes that have been designed due to an inspiration from a video game and console, but none that is actually fuctional with a game console. This Nike Air Max 93 was deconstructed and reassembled to be compatible with the Nintendo Wii balance board. The Wii Nike Air Max 93 by Nick Marsh can be seen after the jump aswell as a video of the shoes in use.

Just earlier today we showed you the “new” Nike Auto Force Trainer, which we finally learned is going to release in adult sizes in certain colorways. Now we have some more Nike-related news that’s also about a relatively new Nike silhouette- the Nike Air Feather high. This sneaker actually dropped for the first time last year and now comes in a straightforward red/white and white/white colorway. Although technically designed for women, one wouldn’t blame any dude for trying these on and giving in. Look out for these two colorways to release at some point during the fall and/or winter of this year.

We know that some of what the Vans Vault collection of this upcoming Fall season includes a “Day of the Dead” pack and a couple of pairs of the Old Skool silhouette. But we have just finished learning that a collaboration will also be on display. The outdoors label Filson has recently been working with the Vans Vault team to produce brown/tan/white pairs of the Sk8-Hi LX and 46 LX. This collection is already available from certain Vans Vault retailers in-store and online.

We know some of what the adidas Originals crew has prepared for its upcoming Fall 2010 collection- including a “Crafts Pack” and set of OT Tech highs. Now you can add the rugged adidas Originals Torsion Special high pictured here to that Fall lineup. This shoe is based on its low-top counterpart and sports a busy, yet attractive colorway that includes black, grey, red and blue. This shoe shall see a release some time in October through select adidas Originals retailers. Will be lacing these up for those tough, winter climbs?

Those working at A Bathing Ape are certainly trying hard to prepare for its Fall 2010 collection, which we’ve already informed our followers consists of the Crape Sneaker and “Shark” Bapesta. Now you can add a collection of four Bape Quicksta to the upcoming Fall collection. The overall design of this shoe mirrors that of the adidas “Shell Toes” but also comes with a set of three straps along the shoe laces area. Officially set for a September 4th release, many are on the fence about copping a pair of the new hybrid/fusion model. After two great seasons and now as part of Team USA, Derrick Rose will finally get what every professional athlete tries to obtain…their own signature shoe.

There aren’t any performance specs on this new design dubbed the ‘AdiZero Rose’ so we will have to wait a bit longer until we find out what this shoe can do. For now all we can tell is the upper is nubuck and leather. There is a heel cup in place to help with ankle support along with and inner sleeve boot and top strap embracing Rose’s signature. The inner side panel is a screen mesh for additional breathability. Eastbay will carry these in stock around mid-October.

A couple of weeks ago we brought you some news regarding the Gourmet Dicivone High-Top Boat Shoe that’s being released as part of the brand’s Fall 2010 collection. However, this time Gourmet seems to be trying to make sure we’re prepared for when the weather starts getting nasty. Back in the spring we brought to your attention a couple of pairs of the DC Shoes Life Admiral high that some readers liked and others didn’t so much. But with the changing of the seasons usually comes some new shoes. That said, we now bring you a look at the Admiral Sport high, which DC Shoes has prepared to release as part of its Fall 2010 collection in an almost silky smooth beige/grey/maroon colorway. Now, as the temperature begins to drop ever so slightly, we begin to hear more about the Fall collections. However, for THIS fall/winter season, the Ice Cream/BBC team will release a collection of high-top Drippy Sneakers that will first drop this weekend from the Tokyo flagship store to be followed by other stores later on. It was back in mid-June when we first brought you a sneak peek at the Air Jordan XIII Retro Premio BIN 23 in what many people thought was another awkward colorway. Then some people didn’t like the fact that the usual 3M upper was replaced with nubuck. Nevertheless, the Air Jordan XIII Retro Premio BIN 23 will be releasing from a selected number of Jordan Brand retailers including House of Hoops locations nationwide. The official colorway is team red/desert clay-white, and the shoe will release in adult sizes for a retail price of $175. Good luck to all of those joining the hunt!

Joining the Air Jordan x Pantone 248 collection are the Air Jordan XVII, XVIII and XIX, which were seen at the Jordan Pop-up shop at Atmos. By now you all should know the colorway these are going to be in, a Carolina Sky Blue upper with a White mid-sole and White accents. Lets not forget the Pantone 248 lasering around the shoes upper, as you’ll see after the jump. Now no detailed information was given on these and the collection, but follow Sneakefiles for the latest news.

Kevin Garnett is sure to be disappointed after his move to Anta after seeing the Adidas Alive LT on his opponent’s feet this season. This has to be one of the best (if not THE best) Adidas performance shoe I’ve ever seen from the brand.

Who knew such a simple design and two basic materials would make such an outstanding pair of kicks. Leather wraps itself around the heel; toe and eyelet areas giving you support right where you need it. Mesh makes up the side panels for breathability while keeping the shoe fairly light in weight. The midsole and outsole are fantastic as well. Superior cushioning and traction is a key feature that some companies seem to forget when creating a performance based shoe.


There is no release information as of now, but expect these to release sometime in the Fall/Winter season.
