Although UNC fell short of the men’s Final Four, many fans could at least try to find some solace in looking forward to the white/Italy blue-black Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 that comes out later this month. Well, here’s a colorway for all you Boston Celtics enthusiasts. Pictured here is the Jordan CMFT Viz Air 13 in black/apple green-white that drops in May for the retail price of $115 in adult sizes. In your opinion- does this one beat out the “UNC” colorway?

Miami House of Hoops Grand Opening

Finally, House of Hoops is coming to Miami. Along with the arrivals of Lebron James and Chris Bosh, Miami is also going to experience and be a part of the expanding House of Hoops chain. This Friday, October 15th, the fifteenth House of Hoops location will have its grand opening from the existing Foot Locker location in Miami’s Dadeland Mall. And, just as a reminder, the “Pre-Heat” Nike Air Max Lebron VIII will also go on sale for the first time exclusively from said House of Hoops location near South Beach the following day, October 16th. Should be an amazing weekend to be a Floridian sneakerhead.

Though we have already given you a plethora of previews of both the Air Jordan 2010 “W3lcome Home” and the Air Jordan Spizike “Infrared,” we would just like to remind you that both sneakers will be available at your local retailers tomorrow. The AJ 2010 features a white upper with varsity red accents seen on the oustole, toebox, and heel, and black accents seen on the midsole, inner lining, and tongue logo. The AJ Spizike hosts a predominately black suede upper with infrared, white, and new blue accents. The Air Jordan 2010 and the Air Jordan Spizike will be available at your local retailers tomorrow, May 8, 2010 for $170 and $175, respectively.

Release Reminder: Nike Air Flightposite II LE Metallic Zinc & Foamposite One Eggplant

This week we caught wind of a return of the Nike Air Flightposite II in a limited edition metallic zinc colorway that got several basketball sneakerheads excited. We also received word of the official re-releasing of the ever-so-popular Nike Air Foamposite One Eggplant that last year also sent shoe fiends into a frenzy (yours truly included). Now we’d like to take the time to remind our readers that both of these Nike basketball silhouettes will be releasing in the mentioned colorways from select Nike retailers starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 6th. While the Nike Air Flightposite II releasing is retailing for $180 in adult sizes and should be worlds easier to get your hands on, the Eggplant Nike Air Foamposite One is going for the usual $200 price tag and will be much more difficult to get a hold of. Bottom line- plan ahead. Happy hunting!

On September 5, Jordan Brand will release a trio of sneakers each dedicated to celebrating MJ’s ascension into the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. “The Beginning” is venerated with the Air Jordan I (1), “The Championships” observed with the Air Jordan Six (6) Rings (this hybrid combines design elements from every shoe Michael won a championship in), and “The Future” commemorated by the AJ2009. Each shoe features a splash of black patent and dashes of varsity red and white as accents. Personal nibbles from Jordan’s career – high-scoring outings, MVP Awards and Championship Rings are embossed on each model.
