Yesterday we broke news about Australian footwear brand, Hops Sportswear, releasing their products here in the US.

While we had some images of their product line as well as tons of info from their press release, we have found an advertisement with a great 360 view of their kicks.

New from iPATH – The Stash

Back in November ‘09, we previewed the Locust, and today we have the pleasure to preview iPATH’s newest skate sneaker, the Stash. The Stash will be released in three different variations: the Stash Mid, Stash Vulc, and Stash, all three of which give skaters a durable, high-performance shoe at a low cost. The Stash will drop in rasta and white/green styles, while the Stash Vulc comes in three colorways which all feature vulcanized soles. The Stash Mid will release in a black/hemp and white/hemp style. All seven sneakers are dropping now on IPATH.com and better footwear retailers across the globe.

Gourmet Sedici Sneaker

Up-and-coming sneaker brand Gourmet brings us a new style for the New Year. Gourmet continues to provide luxury sneakers with only the highest quality materials. This company has proven to be a success story amongst independent sneaker companies. Gourmet has a knack for toning down Jordan-style silouhettes and turning them into to sleek, simple & casual sneakers.
This shoe has been dubbed the Sedici, which means sixteen in Italian. The Sedici is a chukka-style mid sneaker that features premium Italian materials, waxed boot laces, a quilted inner lining, and the Gourmet “Not For Nothing” logo on the tongue. Be on the look out for these to come in a variety of colorways at your nearest Gourmet retailer.

Li-Ning Jose Calderon PE

While most of us are aware of the Baron Davis Li-Ning signature sneaker series, he is not the only NBA player in a contract with the Chinese sneaker company. In fact, you can now add Toronto Raptors point guard Jose Calderon to the list of NBA ballers with their own Li-Ning PE. Pictured here is number 8’s Li-Ning PE in a black/red colorway. It dons the Spanish point guard’s number 8 on the inside ankle area, while a small depiction of Calderon in his patented 3 fingers pose fills the top of the shoe’s tongue. Finally, the Li-Ning team pays homage to Calderon’s hometown of Spain by placing a silhouette of the country’s flag underneath the shoe’s sole. With no word of a stateside release, here are pictures of the shoe that might or might not make its way to the U.S. If you had the chance to, would you be inclined to try out a pair?

Creative Recreation Spring 2010 Italian Collection Preview

Creative Recreation is quickly growing in the sneaker and even celebrity world. At a recent showcase in Las Vegas, the Creative Recreation brand put on display an array of high-top sneaker designs that have all been influenced by Italian fashion and lifestyle. Creative Recreation used a mix of different leathers in this collection, as it continued to conjure up attention-grabbing silhouettes furnished with Italian craftsmanship. Also a part of the collection are some Rec Terino Lows that sport perforated leather, among other quality materials. Expect Creative Recreation to come hard with this collection in the spring of 2010.

K-Swiss 2010 Collection Sneak Peek

While last Saturday was a big day for K-Swiss because of the release of its sneaker collaboration with Partners & Spade, the Wednesday before that was also a big one. Hundreds attended K-Swiss’ “Play Nice” fashion show in New York City’s Skyline Gallery as models showcased products slated to release as part of the brand’s Spring 2010 collections. Several celebrities appeared on the runway, accompanied in the end by members of the local K-Swiss affiliate: the Boys & Girls Club of America. On display were different K-Swiss models made for casual wear, tennis play, fitness training, and even skateboarding. In the end, the event was a successful kick-off to this year’s US Open tournament and cemented K-Swiss’ position as an all-inclusive California Sport brand. K-Swiss x Partners & Spade “P&S Classic”

Earlier this year we got word of a K-Swiss collaboration with United Set. This past Saturday, August 29th, 2009, invited guests celebrated the release of the limited edition P&S Classic- the result of a new K-Swiss collaboration, this time with New York footwear store Partners & Spade. The launch event consisted of the August Sweat Out Ping Pong Classic- a day-long event in which guests competed against each other in games of ping pong played on a table with a K-Swiss theme. But the real prize was being given the first opportunity to cop one of the P&S Classics limited to 266 pairs. Originally released at the 1966 Wimbledon games, this reworked shoe has a stripe of bright orange near the ankle with each pair being individually numbered with an identification tag. Only certain stores such as the J. Crew NY Men’s Store and Partners & Spade have these for sale. So it’ll take you a bit more work acquiring a pair of these- but, then again, that’s the nature of limited releases.

Common Projects Fall 2009 Lineup

Earlier this month we checked out a sleek, minimalist sneaker model in the PF Flyers Center Hi that caught a couple of people’s attention. Now, we’re reporting on another brand known and revered for its simple, yet well-put-together shoe designs. Common Projects looks to be making some noise in the sneaker world soon with its fall 2009 lineup, which contains a number of different models. With an array of hi, mid, and lo-top shoes slated to release- Common Projects is definitely positioning itself to target a varied audience.
