The Nike SB line has created quite a stir with a very colorful “wool” Dunk high. However, it seems as though Nike is making sure you don’t HAVE to go SB for a multicolored Dunk. Pictured here is a Nike Dunk high that sports a predominantly light grey coloring along the upper, with metallic silver, blue sapphire, and yellow accenting the shoe throughout. Expect these to drop stateside soon, as certain overseas retailers online already have these in stock and available for purchase today. The iconic Nike Dunk High has seen its fair share of colorways and materials over the years, but it seems as though the designers over at Nike never fail to impress sneakerheads worldwide with the newest variations. This time around, the sneaker features a black nylon base accented by purple and pink gradient paneling, a white midsole, and a white tongue tag. Comfort will come standard with this pair due to the use of Zoom cushioning in the sole as well as the added cushioning near the ankle. The Nike Women’s Dunk High Premium is expected to release within the next few months, so be sure to stay tuned for any updates.

They say that if it isn’t broke, don’t try to fix it. Therefore, Nike seems to hope it can continue riding the Los Angeles Lakers wave of popularity. We recently showed you the latest Nike Dunk to release in a colorway that at least borrows from the Los Angeles Lakers’ team colors. Now the brand brings you another purple pair. Pictured here is a Nike Dunk high that sports a predominantly black leather upper and purple patent leather Nike swoosh. However, this pair is sure to grab your attention for the slight touches of ultralime color that can be seen most evidently on the shoe laces, but also on the ankle lining. Lastly, this sneaker includes purple stitching around the midsole and sits on a bubble gum bottom. This Nike Dunk high can be found now at select Nike retailers.

With the end of the Thanksgiving weekend also came the end to numerous auctions held for parts of the late DJ AM’s renowned sneaker collection. However, today there is more DJ AM sneaker news. Here are some of the first shots of a collaborative effort between Nike and the acclaimed DJ, which resulted in at LEAST this one pair of the Nike Dunk high in a red/black/grey colorway. The upper consists of black patent leather with red and grey accents, while the shoe sits atop a completely white sole. On the tongue you can spot the famous DJ’s performance name, which is sure to touch many hearts. What do you think about at least this one result of a teaming up that many sneaker circles had caught wind of long before this point? You can search and find these today among only certain retailers. Many have been looking forward to trying to get their hands on one or all of the shoes included in Nike’s 2009 Day of the Dead Collection. Favored by many more than any other shoe in the pack is the Nike Dunk High Premium, which will be a quickstrike release. However, we now have word that on Saturday October 31, 2009, stateside House of Hoops locations will have these on sale- and just in time for Halloween and the Mexican Day of the Dead holiday on November 2nd. Needless to say, these will be in high demand, and supplies might not last too long. So if you’re feeling these and don’t want to pay above retail, then make sure you’re in line early.

The females out there should be very glad to see that Nike has only not forgotton about them, but actually emphasized them with a plethora of women’s releases. One such release was the Nike Blazer “Grand Purple,” and now a certain online retailer has in stock a Nike Dunk High also for the women, and also including purple. The Dunk pictured here has a black synthetic base, sports white along the heel, toe box, and sole, and is topped off with a purple spot pattern that also contains a touch of grey. I don’t see many men even thinking twice about letting this “women’s” release pass them by- especially purple enthusiasts like myself.

We have seen this week two of Nike’s Dunk AC TZ featuring a monotone base. One is an over-all grey and the other one is an all-black upper which both feature simplicity. Now, we have another canvas-made upper but this time it is dressed with an eye-catching color of orange along with white swoosh and shoe lace. It is also accented with varsity royal which is applied above the white vulcanized midsole. And since this version is created for the 2010 FIFA World Cup, the tongue tag has a ‘Nike Netherlands’ graphic logo. If your feet are size 8 you get a pair as early as now at Osneaker.com

Not many sneakerheads can or will ever forget about the Nike SB “Day of the Dead” Dunks, whether it be because of the immaculate patent leather and icy sole combination or the hype surrounding its release in only Mexico and Canada. This year, Nike is revving up to drop three more sneakers paying tribute to the Mexican holiday celebration that takes place in November of every year. The Nike Dunk Low comes in a light purple and green colorway with a pattern of skeletons throughout the entire shoe. The Nike Dunk High sports a similar pattern and green check but on a predominantly black base. And the Nike Air Max 90 is dressed in almost an identical makeup to the Dunk High. You can expect these to drop on or around October 24th. Coupled with the Halloween season and Day of the Dead celebration, one, two, or all three of these will surely be greatly coveted. But keep in mind that these Halloween time releases are usually very limited.

The Nike Destroyer’s Pack past consisted of solely (no pun intended) Nike Dunks. This year’s pack has expanded to the Nike Air Force 1 as well. The previously reported on Ultraman Nike Dunk High makes up one of this pack’s dunks. The second dunk contains perforated leather just like the Ultraman’s do. It’s made up of a white and orange base and black heel that also contains an orthodox but subtle pattern of lines. And lastsly, the aforementioned Nike Air Force 1 comes in a mid-cut with a predominantly black base, white sole, and yellow accents near the tongue, strap, and upper heel. While the Ultraman’s have been spotted at Nike retailers already, the other two should be dropping at Nike retailers also, as early as today.

Just last week we informed you of a Nike Dunk High to be released in a Black/Sail colorway. Well, we’ve already come across what looks like that sneaker’s twin brother- the Nike Dunk High in a similar Obsidian/Sail colorway. This dunk sports the same “sail” colorway on the upper, but contains dark obsidian nylon material on the toe box, side panels, and inner lining. Moreover, this version’s sole is white, has a dark blue Nike check, dark blue laces, and still sits atop a bubble gum outsole. Expect these to drop at Nike retailers in February of 2010.

Every season, Nike releases the hottest new colorways of the Dunk High. Though most of the colorways are typically for males, Nike does a rather adequate job in producing clean sneakers for their female fans. In Fall 2009, Nike will be dropping the Metallic Pack, which is composed of three new styles of the Nike Womens Dunk High Skinny. The first pair hosts a tonal grey upper, while the second pair yields a gold upper with black accents. The final sneaker features a red upper with shiny black accents. The Nike Metallic Pack is expected to release in the upcoming months.

As we were recently reminded, Nike releases seemingly continue to be influenced by the iconic, fictional Japanese Ultraman character. Well, pictured here is a Nike Dunk Low that sports a metallic silver similar to that found on Ultraman’s suit. Accented with red near the heel, toebox, and lace holes, this color scheme might resemble the hero’s trademark color combination more than any Nike release drawing comparisons to Ultraman’s outfit. For those of you eager to hold your very own pair of these Dunk Low’s, eBay should have you covered.

As part of the Fall 2009 collection, Nike Sportswear is releasing this Dunk High. The shoe is made of black canvas upper along with white swoosh, tongue, shoe lace and midsole to give a perfect contrast. This particular dunk high seems to be dull with its plain dark upper but the use of gum sole gave this one a little spark. The kicks have begun releasing at sneaker shops so look for them now at select Nike retailers.

As the seasons change, so too might Nike be ringing in the Fall months with more conservative- although still stylish- colorways. Set to drop this new Tier Zero pack very soon, Nike shakes things up with a less traditional, all-white sole that seems to be made of a rubber material. Furthermore, each shoe consists of a single, solid color canvas base and leather swoosh. Nike is no stranger to the solid color shoe, but putting it all on top of a white sole could very well have been the added component that’ll drive so many necks to turn.
