Nike Air Penny II “Copper” Release Information

Just yesterday we gave you a look at the Nike Air Penny II’s done up in a black colorway with copper accents. If you think about it, it’s rather fitting that a signature Nike Air Penny receive copper treatment. And we are now happy to fulfill our promise of keeping you up-to-date with this groundbreaking release. Starting this Saturday September 26,2009, House of Hoops locations stateside will have these in stock and ready for sale. But don’t expect these to last for too many days passed Saturday- if any. This colorway is rather subtly attention-grabbing, and is sure to grab the attention of way more people than there are pairsof these. Happy hunting!

Nike Air Penny II Black-Copper

It doesn’t seem as if Nike can come out with any color that’d look bad on the Air Foamposite’s. We already know that next year another one comes out sporting a copper upper. It now seems that the second signature Penny Hardaway Nike shoe is also getting done up in a similar way. The Nike Air Penny II pictured here, however, actually comes in a predominantly black upper that boasts nubuck, leather, and foam material. And the copper is kept to a subtle minimum with accents around the sole and lining the upper. It is still unknown whether or not these will be a general release, but you can rest assured we’ll report any updates. For now, which of the “copper” Nike Air Penny’s discussed here looks better?
