A couple of months ago Nike created the Nike 78 project, in which Nike gave out shoes to 78 different artist with the mission to entirely change up the shoe. Nick Marsh was one of the artist selected, his design of the Wii Nike Air Max 93 created quite a buzz. Now we all seen shoes that have been designed due to an inspiration from a video game and console, but none that is actually fuctional with a game console. This Nike Air Max 93 was deconstructed and reassembled to be compatible with the Nintendo Wii balance board. Air Jordan Kevin Martin Sacramento Kings Away PE

This is the Air Jordan Kevin Martin Sacramento Kings Away PE which as the name implies, was designed especially for Kevin Martin. These PE sneakers exude a regal purple color that is reserved exclusively for the Kings. Now, there awaits a very great pair of sneakers while he is not performing on the hard court. It features black, purple and white color combination.

It is made out of premium suede with its upper base in black with regal purple accents. It can be seen apparent in the nice form of stitching pattern along its mid panel. It comes as S branding right on the tongue, in between the laces, the inner lining and the number 23 too right near the heel panel. Its jumpman logo can be seen on the heel tab in white. It has a black midsole that also has some overlapping solid rings for its exquisite pattern.

Gospel Shoes

This is another pair of custom kicks shoes sent to us by a true shoe artist-designer and rapper Cheston Dooley. His stage name as a rapper is V!RTU. He started using his skill to paint shoes to support his musical dreams. He began painting shoes for well known rappers to collaborate with him.

Here is another pair that he is proud of. He painted it for a very special design that deals with spirituality, size 13 for men’s sneakers. It only took him a total of 20 hours to paint it. This is a comprehensive custom design made by him alone. Cheston got inspired with coming up with something that would give praise to God even through the shoes we wear. Hence, he called this pair the “gospel”.

This is perfect for those who are really devoted to some youth clubs of religious groups. We will be seeing more custom kicks from Cheston in the coming days ahead.

Le Coq Sportif – Joakim Noah Signature Shoe

My first impression on Chicago Bulls center/forward Joakim Noah is that he is on his own. Yes, as he marches with his own beat on court, Noah is definitely one of a kind. His originality stands out amongst the crowd as we look at his hair, style and sense of humor. Nike and adidas companies surely missed one great opportunity to have him signed but it is no surprise at all when Noah chose Le Coq Sportif to be his sponsor than them. Why? He is simply unique but reliable. The said brand was endorsed by former professional tennis player Yannick Noah which happens to be his father. So let’s have a quick background check for France’s The Athletic Rooster. This company produced sporting equipment and apparel as well as sneakers that Noah used to wear since he started in NBA in 2007. The featured sneaker is the Noah’s first signature shoe with the brand. It has a retro look in home and away Chicago colorways and equipped with modern performance technology like inner booty sleeve construction, full length compression molded EVA midsole, external TPU heel counter, and lateral outriggers. So what do you think of this one?

Custom Nike Dunk Low “Stealth” by Sekure D

I always look forward to customs as they are some of the best sneakers we will ever see. Designers take a long time on their customs to make sure there sneaker is the best of the best. Well here is one designers who has done that time in and time out with some fantastic custom over time. Here we have a remarkable pair of Nike Dunk Lows that were designed by Sekure D.

The sneaker carries a dope design! The first thing you’ll probably notice are the Carnage and Fester patterns, which are done up in black. A light shade of blue appears on the Nike Swoosh and shoe laces while grey covers the mid-panel. White is put into use on areas such as the toe box, inner lining, and tongue. Sekure D finishes off the design with a clean white midsole and a black outsole. I cant stop looking at these! What do you think?

Custom Nike Air Max LeBron VII “MVPuppets”

We all have seen the MVPuppets commercials with Puppet Lebron, Puppet Kobe, and LiL Dez. Well that same commercial is a inspiration behind a pair of custom sneakers. These Custom Nike Air Max LeBron VIIs are designed by 1 OF Customs. 1 OF Customs really took in the idea of puppets and made it work great. To represent the puppets, a soft and fluffy material is placed on areas such as the mid-panels and heel. The trim around the soft material comes in red with quotes from the commercial placed throughout it. Also added to the sneaker is a white Nike Swoosh and black patent leather on areas such as the toe area. The soft material doesn’t really fit a pair of sneakers, but its not to bad on these. These are one of a kind, so they will not be available. Check out more pics after the jump. Via Sneakerobsession

“World Cup” For Nike Dunk High AC

In 2009, the very first Nike Dunk High ACs were welcomed with a whole lot of reactions. There weren’t so many who were thrilled with the idea of the new designs for the sole, but a few others liked it still. This 2010, Nike came up with new colorways in time for the coming World Cup. All these three were made specifically for France, Netherlands and Brazil.

For the Brazilian shoe, the black canvas has green stripes while the French tema have red pair which blue accents. The Netherlands shoe is in orange with blue stripes. It was heard that there are still more to come for added teams and country inspired colors for the shoes.

Custom Nike Court Tradition “Street”

When you customize a pair of sneakers, you basically expressing you thoughts. Your speaking from you mind, and that right these is what make a true custom great and one of kind. This next sneaker designer looks like he took that same approach. This Custom Nike Court Tradition is dubbed “Street”, and is designed by Sharp020.

Sharp020 worked on these for a while. The reason behind the long work is pretty simple. Sharp020 wanted these to carry the “Street” effect. He originally decided to use the material hemp for the uppers of the sneaker. But the material wasn’t brining the street look, which is what Sharp020 wanted all along. After several failed attempts of trying to use hemp, he decided to move on and not use hemp for the design anymore. Sharp020 then decided to use leather throughout the uppers. The street effect was brought by a cement pattern, which looks so surreal. Yellow is used on the Nike Swoosh, inner lining, and stitching. The design certainly looks hard, so i gotta give major props to Sharp020. Check out detailed pictures after the jump. Via SneakerObsession.

The PF Flyers Box Cut Center Hi

Especially made for the Spring of 2010, PF Flyers innovated their Center Hi into a Box Center Hi. There is the extra wrinkle shown in the chevron in the lower ankle section. The extra layers allow the wearer to sport it like a low cut or high cut shoe.

Regardless of its simple appeal, the Box Center Hi has modern hints of the ballistic nylon material that comes from beneath the canvas. The shoes has three available colorways in grey/orange, navy/yellow, and beige/red.
