A Bathing Ape Sk8 Sta - Octopus Tailor Camo
We know that there is an URSUS Bape Duck boot out there for the rainy season. However, A Bathing Ape has today released a collection of the Sk8 Sta. For this collection, there is an Octopus Tailor camouflage pattern that will be seen along the upper of two different colorways- green/white and black/white. Check with your local Bape retailers for your shot at either or both of these.

BAPE and Neighborhood Collaboration

It is this appointed year that Neighborhood and BAPE will collaborate to come up with a new shoe collection that is called NHBA Brotherhood. The founders of both BAPE and Neighborhood in the names of Nigo and Shinsuke Takizawa released one of the photos of a particular piece in the line of collection.

This sneaker, if you would notice, looks the same like the Converse Chuck Taylor High but this time with all the custom symbols. The symbols on the other hand look like the New York Yankees brand in interlocking letters. These symbols are embroidered right on the upper part of the shoes, in its entirety. It’s like seeing a Louis Vuitton bag with all its LV symbols all over.

We must continue to stay tuned for more updates from the very interesting collaboration which could possibly result for more colorways and designs for this particular shoe collection series.

The Bape Creep Sta sneaker-boot has made its way into Bape’s Spring 2010 catalogue through a series of basic colorways. Blocked in red, green, blue, and purple, the collection’s color pallet adds a twist of simplicity to one of Bape’s more original silhouettes. Set to release early next year, the models are expected to sport a price tag of around $200 USD.

A Bathing Ape Foil Bapesta Collection

BapestaFoil
Last we saw A Bathing Ape’s Bapesta, it had gone back to experimenting with patent leather, which helped make it famous since the silhouette’s inception. Now, BAPE seems to be trying to once again disallow passers by from staring at your bapestas by draping a set of five of them in foil. The set of five Bapestas come in pink/white, red/white, purple/white, blue/white and copper/white. While the midsoles, shoe laces, and inner lining come in white, the uppers, outsoles and actual BAPE logo on each shoe all come in the pair’s particular foil color. These are set to release from select BAPE retailers soon- dropping from BAPE New York and BAPE Los Angeles this coming Saturday November 21, 2009. Do you like the foil or patent leather pairs better?
