Early on this month we were able to confirm Jordan Brand’s plans to release the Air Jordan XI Silver Anniversary, to the incredible joy of sneakerheads worldwide. Now we take it upon us to remind all of our readers that the day is upon us. Tomorrow, May 1st, the white/metallic silver Air Jordan XI Silver Anniversary will be hitting select Jordan Brand retailers’ shelves at a MSRP of $150. With the price tag not being as high as some might have expected and how limited the sneaker will be still unclear, tomorrow could very well be the most hectic Jordan Brand release yet of 2010. Remember that many online retailers will make them available for purchase as early as midnight. Happy hunting!

CC Sabathia is no new name to Air Jordan player exclusive cleats, considering as though he unveiled the Air Jordan Force Fusion V (5) Player Exclusive Cleats last year. On Opening Night at Fenway Park this year, CC Sabathia decided to rock a pair of Air Jordan XI (11) cleats in the first two innings, but then changed into the Air Jordan IV (4) cleats for the fourth and fifth innings. The AJ 11 hosted a clean colorway extremely similar to the ever-popular “Cool Grey” Air Jordan 11, while the AJ 4 hosted a black upper with white accents on the midsole, netting, wings, and lace eyelets. It should be quite interesting to keep an eye on CC Sabathia throughout the MLB season, and periodically check out the eye candy on his feet.

Air Jordan XI (11)

Just yesterday we came upon a couple of new images of the Air Jordan IV Silver Anniversary, which sneaker/Air Jordan fans are still torn about because of things such as its resemblance to the “Pure $” AJ IV of 2006. Now we’d like to show you a couple of new images from perhaps the most coveted Air Jordan Silver Anniversary silhouette- the XI. This model comes with a completely white upper, transluscent sole, and NO Air Jordan jumpman on the heel. Enjoy the pictures as we await this particular Silver Anniversary Air Jordan sneaker’s release date.

Thanks to the Air Jordan XI “Space Jams,” Jordan Brand finished off the year and decade with a BANG. And thanks to the Air Jordan XI “Silver Anniversary,” it is obvious that Jordan Brand is once again trying to trump any and all competition. In case you slept on the Space Jams or need another pair, we have good news for you. Similarly, if you’re among those who can’t WAIT to get your hands on a pair of the Silver Anniversary AJ XI, today may just be your lucky day. Shoe York now has both of these Air Jordan XIs available for purchase and ready to ship in a very limited size run. The Space Jams have been reduced to $260, while the Silver Anniversary AJ XI is going for $330. Prices do include shipping, so now’s your chance to jump on one- if not both- of these very popular Air Jordan XI colorways before it’s too late.

Jordan Brand is good about feeding off the success of past releases (when it wants to be). To that extent, it seems as though they’ll choose to follow-up the Air Jordan XI “Space Jams” frenzy with a pair in white/ice blue, which we already showed you. But, people love knowing exactly what they’re getting into before even getting exciting. Therefore, SneakerFiles is obliged to pass along these new pictures that have surfaced on the internet in case they make you realize something new or look at some aspect of the shoe differently. As of now, perhaps the biggest disappointment, besides the fact that these are so far scheduled to release only in Grade School sizes, is the no-show Air Jordan jumpman logo.
