Jordan Brand is set to release the Air Jordan II QF in the University Blue/Black-White colorway on July 31, 2010. A portion of the upper is made of university blue nubuck with black accents and a black midsole. The signature side panels are university blue faux lizard skin and to top it all off, this particular model has Jordan Brand’s signature clear “icy” outsole. This Air Jordan II (2) – University Blue/Black-White will be a general release to the public and will be available for $135 on July 31, 2010.

Many of you have been waiting for an opportunity to get your hands on the Air Jordan II in OG colorway white/black-varsity red without having to purchase it in a package or something of that nature. Wait no more. Tomorrow, on Saturday May 22nd, that very Air Jordan II retro will be releasing from Air Jordan retailers nationwide alongside the Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII “Playoffs” in black/varsity red-flint grey. Needless to say the Air Jordan II will garner more attention of the two releases, but is anybody looking forward to the Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII as a consolation prize for missing out on the Air Jordan VIII Playoffs retro or as an alternative to it? Perhaps the funniest thing is that the retro Air Jordan II will be retailing for $135 in men’s sizes, while Jordan Brand is asking for $140 for the Air Jordan Force Fusion VIII. Air Jordan II Retro White/Black-Varsity Red – Release Date Change

In early March we informed our readers of the tentative May 1st release date of the white/black-varsity red retro Air Jordan II. Really, it seems as though every release date Jordan Brand announces should be held in skepticism until ithe actual day of because we never know when the company might be forced to push a release date back for whatever reason(s). That said, we would like to now inform you of the change in release date for this Air Jordan retro. Instead of coming out on the first day of May, this beloved colorway of the Air Jordan II is now set to release a little later, on the 22nd day of May. The one good thing about these kind of date pushbacks is that it usually means more time for the consumer to save money (and, in turn, more time to possibly spend money elsewhere).
