Hektik Kicks was highlighted recently on MyAirShoes for a pair of Tazmanian Devil customs. The designer’s previous project was a pair of custom Air Force Ones modeled on two of Marvel Comics’ most beloved characters. Flydea was tasked with turning a pair of worn white/black Nike Cortez into an homage to Rage Against the Machine. The designer’s sophomore effort at sneaker art is well-designed and shows greater maturity than Flydea’s experience would indicate. Ripp’s top customer Day asked the designer to create a pair of custom sneakers with a basketball theme. Rather than produce a tired pair of AF1s in basketball orange and black, Ripp looked at the entire basketball court as his inspiration. I covered the PanDuh Air Force Ones by Kidkustom yesterday but I was saving my favorite AF1s from the designer for today. He customized a second pair of Nike Air Force Ones using a yellow/black/white colorway. While Kidkustom didn’t have a name for these sneakers, I have taken to calling them Yellow Madness.
