With Valentines day being less then a month away, its only right to release some Valentines day inspired sneakers. Nike is dropping a pair of Nike AF1 for womens only, inspired by the lovable day of the year. A tan canvas with red flower and heart graphics takes up the shoes entire upper. The spanish word for love, ‘Amor’ appears on the red AF1 tongue tag in tan letterings. Red is also seen on the swoosh, heel tab, inner linning, laces and bottom sole, helping contrast the shoe. This month Nike is introducing the Nike Air Force 1 ‘Microstripe’ collection, the collection will feature 3 pairs of Nike AF1s each in a different coloway. The collection is dubbed ‘Microstripe’ due to the texture used on the shoe, appearing as the shoe has been painted with brush. Three colorways a red, black and brown colorway make up this collection, each sitting on top of a white midsole with a bottom translucent sole in its color. We should all know by now that the Orlando Magic big man Dwight Howard plans to wear a special edition 2011 NBA All Star Game version of his adidas Superbeast during the annual, mid-season classic. Apparently, the adidas Originals line is collaborating with more people than just Jeremy Scott. In fact, it appears as though long-time supporter of the adidas brand Snoop Dogg is finally getting his own shoe. Said sneaker is pictured here with a predominantly black leather upper that consists of some perforation and “blacked out” adidas stripes. Certain white, purple and orange accents finish off the design, while art taken directly from the Doggystyle album cover can be spotted on the tongue. These are expected to release soon, but how many of you think you’ll be trying to cop a pair of these?

The Foamposite Pro ‘Electric Blue’ will drop in July at a retail price of $190. Another notable release will be the ‘Dark Pine’ Foam Pro in September, retail is also $190.

Note the prices listed under the product color code… $190/$100.70. This is the retail price for consumers versus the price retailers pay to have them in stock. Nearly a $90 profit for retailers on each pair makes you wonder how much the sneakers actually cost to produce… Just something that caught my attention.
