What do you get when you fuse an old classic and new technology? The Nike Air Max Jr… Said to be dropping 2011, the Nike Air Max Jr. features the upper of the Nike Air Max Griffey 1 with Nike’s Torch Tech around the midfoot all sitting atop of a 360 Air Max unit.

As you can see from the catalogue images, a black/red and an ‘Air Max 95 Neon’ colorway are set to release first. An additional white/ chlorine blue pair can be seen after the jump.

Sports have always been the inspirational force behind a shoe design. Often we find the shoe design is made in accordance with popular sports across the world. And often the big names in the sports play a contributory role. The Barcelona based sports footwear and accessory designer 24 Kilates earlier tied up with the big names like Reebok.  This time they have collaborated with New Balance to design a shoe, which is in the themes of the famous football club Barcelona FC. This tie up came as an automatic choice after Spain became the FIFA Football worl cup champions 2010. The football craze marked a new high in the Spain, and observing this phenomenon, Spanish farm 24 Kilates joined hands with New Balance to create 24 Kilates x New Balance 577 Teaser.  This design came with the hope that this design 24 Kilates x New Balance 577 Teaser will attract customers of both the farms, and hence large revenue in business.

The design of this shoe collection was made in the color of the Barcelona FC jersey, the blue and the red.  Significantly, we find both these colors as the accent color in this shoe collection. The shoe is grey colored, and the two versions of these shoe collection have used red and blue respectively as their accent color. In the 24 Kilates x New Balance 577 Teaser, we find gray suede and grey leather as the material, and a piece of black leather features on the ankle side of the shoe, and the logo N of New Balance features on either side of the shoe.

We know that one Blazer AC that will be a part of Nike‘s Fall 2010 collection will come in a high-top cut, black-on-black colorway and the customary midfoot straps. But Nike has also been working on the Nike Blazer low pictured here as a continued effort to help promote the Livestrong campaign. This pair comes in a mostly light grey colorway with some instances of white and yellow. These can be purchased from Nike’s online store and shall retail for $75.

It was back in Spring of this year that we showed you the “Wino” Supra Skytop that several sneakerheads took a liking to, in large part to the all-black/gum sole combination. Now the brand is contributing the grey/pink-white Supra Skytop pictured here to the annual Pink Party event being held this coming Saturday by the small boutique retailer Elyse Walker and which benefits Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Research Institute. Last week we showed you a rather clean “Laser Blue” Nike Air Max 90 that is set to release before the end of 2010. But the Nike Air Max 90s don’t stop there. Pictured here is an Air Max 90 that’s part of the “I Am The Rules” campaign and was collaborated on between both Foot Locker and Nike representatives. The campaign is supported by European soccer stars Andrei Arshavin, Marouane Chamakh and Stefano Okaka. The sneaker itself works in black and grey alongside a mix of bright colors that include purple, green and infrared. Unfortunately for statesiders, the “I Am The Rules” campaign is specific to Europe- that just means you’ll have to work those connections for a shot at a pair. Are you going to go after these?

Last week we brought a contest being held by Foot Locker to the attention of our readers. Foot Locker wanted to know if sneaker fans could spot the differences between the sample pair of the Air Jordan IX “Charcoal” previewed for us earlier in the summer and the actual release version of the fall. For those of you interested in finding out if you spotted them all, there exist three differences between both pairs. The first and most obvious differences is the lighter shade of “charcoal” just above the midsole of the actual release. Moreover, the sample pair’s heel tab was black and inner tongue lining red, while the colors were reversed on the respective parts of the actual release. For those of you who entered the VIP Foot Locker competition and correctly pointed out all three differences, we wish you good luck with the drawing of the $100 gift card winner. The reason behind is the emotion attached with the paying tribute.  This attracts customers of both the farms. This shoe was designed keeping in mind with the style of the designer farm offspring.

The design characteristic of Offspring is the mix-n-match of the colors that instantly grabs the attraction. In this New Balance 576 x Offspring Covent Garden Pack, Offspring did not change anything of the basic design of the classic M576 version of the New Balance. They just introduced some eye catching color like the golden yellow, red , blue in different combinations to place a young and energetic look in the footwear. The logo of Offspring can be viewed on a strip that slides down from the region near shoe tongue. A mixture of Nylon, Suede and Leather has been used as the material of the shoe.
