Ever since Kobe and his Los Angeles Lakers put the last nail in Boston’s coffin with a comeback win in game 7 of the NBA finals, fans have been looking forward to the next basketball spectacle. This time around, that happens to be the FIBA World Championships. We’ve already seen a Nike Zoom Kobe V “Team USA” colorway along with reports of a Nike Lebron VII low and Air Jordan Rare Air in similar colorways also drawing inspiration from team USA’s national colors. Now we have word that a basketball sneaker Rajon Rondo helped make famous throughout the NBA regular season and playoffs is also getting similar treatment. Pictured here is a “Team USA” Nike Hyperfuse that will be available for purchase come August. As of now, this shoe will only be available through select online retailers such as FootLocker. Moreover, a Kevin Durant Player Exclusive in the same colorway will also be made available around the same time from House of Hoops locations. What are your thoughts on this Nike Hyperfuse’s patriotism?

Just because Kobe Bryant recently finished getting his hand on his second NBA championship in a row doesn’t mean he doesn’t want some more. The Nike Zoom Kobe V “USA Basketball” that is set to release in September matches perfectly with the national team’s basketball jerseys, which will be worn when the team tries to won gold at the FIBA World Championships. Now we have a look at what is supposedly a Fiba World Championships version of the Air Jordan Rare Air. With a perforated upper and red cement on a predominantly blue base, this could be quite the attention-grabber if/when any members of the US national team wear this Air Jordan Rare Air during play.

For those of you (Phoenix Suns fans or not) who are particularly fond of how grey and orange look together on sneaker silhouettes, you shouldn’t be in too much trouble finding a pair or two with those criteria this summer. After just showing you a white/dark grey-team orange Nike Air Pippen I that is already on sale from Nike retailers all over, we now bring you a look at this white/cool grey-team orange Nike Lebron VII low. With a predominantly white base, touches of cool grey are found in places such as the Nike swoosh, ankle lining, and sole. Moreover, very slight touches of team orange are also spotted in places such as the tongue and sole. Lastly, a grey portion of the sole towards the heel is covered in white and orange speckles that adds that much more flare to the most popular signature Lebron sneaker to date.

Despite dropping a day after April Fool’s Day, several sneakerheads deemed the “Sunrise to Sundown” Nike Air Pippen I no laughing matter. With a black base, that Nike Air Pippen I was filled with hints of orange, red and yellow along the upper to create the illusion of what looks to be a moving sun. Now that the sun is actually out and brighter than ever, a basketball sneaker with more white could be more fitting. That said, the white/dark grey-total orange Nike Air Pippen I pictured here is now available for purchase from Nike retailers, both in store and online, nationwide. These are going for $160 retail in adult sizes.

This is the most recent colorway for Nike’s latest innovations. This is in respect of their retro efforts to hybridize a classic Nike upper sitting on white vulcanized sole. It comes with the most refreshing of colors that is also considered color of the year, which is somehow similar to a teal. Here is something in New Green and Purple Punch.
These could pass as flavors of Capri Sun juice box and they appear as for men’s pairs for the Nike Auto Trainer. It has good combination of vulcanized sole with the aggressive uppers of the Nike Air Trainer SC II ¾ upper.
You might at first think that its colorway is much better for the girls especially the teenagers looking for the louder set of colors. But this color combo is really for the men this time around. Check out these new trainers at your nearest Nike retailers soon.

Nothing can be more pleasing than white sneakers worn during the summer time, especially the ones made out of white canvas uppers. In the sneaker fashion world, we have really seen a lot of subtle colors and a series of all whites for this summer. But there could be nothing like this pair of Nike WMNS Dunks.
These are both available in lows and highs. The WMNS Dunk 08 is apparent on the woven canvas texture that adds up to the tonal dots that are a bit shiny to make things brighter for the sneakers. This is a not so new technique done for leather sneakers before. But what makes it unique is that this is the few and rare times when it is applied on this kind of textile.
They will soon sure to hit the American Nike Sportswear retailers and be a total hit to many sneaker fans like you.

Right now, people aren’t really focusing on LeBron James for his signature line with Nike. LeBron is the biggest gem of the 2010 NBA free agent class, which has lead to some major media attention. No one has any idea where he’s going to play basketball next year. However, that hasn’t stopped Nike from releasing this White/Cool Grey/Team Orange colorway of the LeBron VII Low.
Nike decides to use clean white leather for most of the upper. White also appears on the heel and midsole, while grey accents cover the tongue, shoe laces, Nike swoosh, and the inner lining. Also added to the design are red accents, as they are located on the swoosh stitching, heel, and the outsole. One of the most interesting features is the speckled design on the midsole, which is done up in grey/white/red. Look for these to hit Nike retailers sometime very soon.

Towards the end of last month, the state of California ushered in the grand opening of yet another House of Hoops location, at the Serramonte Center in Daly, CA. A little over a month later, another House of Hoops is added to the family. This coming Friday, July 2nd, the state of Washington will unveil its new House of Hoops location at Southcenter Mall in Tukwila. Aside from all of the customary celebrations we’re used to seeing in conjunction with these openings, Brandon Roy of the Portland Trailblazers will also be stopping by from 2:00 to 4:00 in the afternoon. So if you’re in the area, this would be a great opportunity to visit yet another American House of Hoops location and possibly get to chat with the sharpshooting Roy.
