Nike x Todd Bratrud Brainwreck Dunk Hi SB

Nike x Todd Bratrud Brainwreck Dunk Hi SB

Skaters have a reason to celebrate this holiday season. After designing a a pair of self-titled SB Dunk Highs last year, and 2006’s epic ‘Send Helps’, Todd Bratrud once again collaborated with Nike SB (Skateboarding). And the result… “Brain Wreck” Nike SB Dunk Hi. Debuting at the at the Debacle Premiere in Los Angeles. These SBs features a gray suede upper with matching grey leather Swoosh, Brain Wreck written over the heel, a light gray midsole and accents of pink.  The inner lining is a woven pattern that resembles brain innards. There’s no denying that it is designed by Mr. Bratrud, because you will see Bratrud in the heel.

Nike Air Max 97 “Spike Lee?”

AM97Spike1
Spike Lee has been often named in conjunction with sneaker drops, perhaps never as often as this year, however. The Spike Lee pack originally thought to consits of a Nike Big Nike and Blazer for sure, now seems to PERHAPS include an Air Max 97 that sports the same colorway as the Blazer. The Spike Lee glasses that come on the tongues of each of the first two shoes mentioned are lost on the Nike Air Max 97’s- which calls into question the validity of it as part of the Spike Lee pack. But there certainly is no denying the white/green/red/black color-up that seems to match the Spike Lee Nike Blazer’s almost to the T. Either way, these AM 97’s will be made available only through certain Nike retailers- including, perhaps the more equipped, online sites.

One of the latest adidas TS Cut Creator’s to create some noteworthy buzz were the one’s that resulted from an adidas collaboration with CLOT. The TS Cut Creator is designed for your more slash-and-dash guards, as opposed to the TS Commander LT rocked by big men like Dwight Howard.
