womens-green-lanvin-cap-toe
First Lady Michelle Obama loves her Lanvin Cap Toe sneakers! She’s been spotted twice rockin’ these designer sneaks and caught some slack for being seen in such a pricey shoe. These casual yet chic sneakers have been all over the media after the First Lady was photographed in them. The green leather sneaker has a metallic green/patent cap toe, grey grosgrain ribbon laces and a rubber sole; the grey trim simply sets these shoes off. Design style is classic, while the colors make the sneaker really stand out. The Cap Toe sneakers are a fashion-savvy girl’s dream. They can be worn to the office or running errands on the weekend. The Lanvin Cap Toe sneakers retail for $585 at Barneys NY.

Air Jordan 7 (VII) Retro DMP - Sixty Plus (60+) Pack

We have already seen multiple previews of the Air Jordan 1 Sixty Plus Pack, but unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the pack’s Air Jordan 7 counterpart. As most already know, Jordan Brand is set to release packages of two sneakers honoring the times when Michael Jordan scored over 60 points. Back in ‘93, the Chicago Bulls squared off against the Orlando Magic, and MJ dropped 64 points. Thus, this package is composed of two colorways of the Air Jordan 7. The first style is extremely similar to the “Raptor” Air Jordan 7 (VII), while the second variations hosts a Magic-inspired colorway composed of a white upper with black and blue accents. The Air Jordan 7 (VII) - Sixty Plus (60+) Pack is expected to release in August ‘09.

Lucky Supreme Nike Dunk Highs Customs

These dunks look really Hot! The feature that puts it over the top is golden stars on the side panels. Inspired by the Lucky Dunks and the Supreme Dunks, Soulful Apparel recreated the two shoes that most of us have been lusting after since 2003. Using the traditional gold stars and classic Supreme lace locks, and mixing it with the coloring of the Lucky dunks, these came out perfect.

These in my opinion are better than Sharkalaid pair  in the three pair Transformers 2 pack. Designed after the Transformer named Bumblebee the Zoom is doused in yellow and black with a few red accents. The very clean drop comes in an even cleaner box that is modeled after Hasbro’s line of toys and even has the see thru window on the front and stats on the back. Check for the entire series at Footlocker’s House of Hoops soon.

Nike Air Max Spot Up

Air Force One-So Cals

Diamonds are everywhere. There’s the diamond iPod, diamond bikini, diamond bag and now a pair of diamond studded sneakers. Presenting The Nike Air Force One “So Cals” made by Atlanta’s Laced Up boutique as part of a new service called Solitaire Kicks. The service is offered by Laced Up with the help of Prriya & Chintans Couture and Jewelry, who provide fashion consultation to customers when customizing their shoes with yellow, blue or white diamonds as well as silver and gold. The “So Cals” are adorned with 11 carat diamonds framing the Nike logo. No worries about the diamonds falling out when shooting some hoops for the gems are affixed to the shoes by fine gold stitching.

The first pair, worth an estimated $50,000 was given to rapper Big Boi at the launch party for Solitaire Kicks. Is this still the most expensive sneaker to date? I won’t be surprise if another sneaker will come out soon that will break this record.

With the Transformers 2 : Revenge of the Fallen releasing this past friday, it was one of the most hyped movies in years. However the shoes dont really d0 the movie that much of a favor, in my opinion i would never wear these but people have different tastes. Three shoes in total will be released and here we take a look at the Soundwave Zoom Sharkalaid Supreme. The shoe gets its name and draws its inspiration from the popular character and this is echoe’d in the colorway and printed ankle strap but the design elements don’t stop there.

This Zoom Sharkalaid Supreme also features a Transformers shoebox with Soundwave’s graphics and features printed on the outside of it as well as a window to see the Sharkalid’s. Look for these along with the two other pairs to drop in the upcoming weeks exclusively at the Footlocker House of Hoops.

Neon Electric Shoe “Futuristic Concept”

Neon Electric Sneaker

This neon shoe was made with a 3D printer, Its design features urban Japanese icons as well as city names in honor of the Asics sub-brand Onitsuka Tiger. Modeled after the city of Tokyo, the 1-meter (~3 foot) long featured the neon skyline, congested highways, and teeming rolls of signages. The sculpture also paid homage to Japanese sub-culture, such as Godzilla, with its inclusion. LED lights and neon band further assist in the sculpture’s completion. Totally 21st Century! This could pose a challenge to the all shoe industry players to take this futuristic concept to a reality. Or just may be there are big shoe companies already cooking up something similar to this cool idea. Just Can’t wait to see that happen.

swagger x Nike Sportswear Terminator High Supreme

These Terminators are real hot just because of the colors that the feature. The most interesting aspect of this release is definitely the fact that the two Terminator Highs are purposely mis-matched. The left sneaker yields a full chocolate upper, while the right sneaker yields a mint colored base accented by a white mid-sole. Both sneakers are extremely unique to say the least. The swagger x Nike Sportswear Terminator High Supreme is expected to release next month.

XLarge x Adidas Superstar – Fall / Winter 2009 Release

    Xlarge x Superstar

      • Adidas has just made a perfect tie-up with XLarge, a clothing store based in LA, California in coming up with a new colorway of the Original Superstar. The Return: Converse Pro Leather '76 OX

The Pro Leather OX ‘76 “Vintage” in white/green, white/red, white/black are the pharmaceuticals Dr. Erving prescribed for my non-existent hops and marginal speed when I visited his clinic earlier today. All right, all right—only time in the gym will cure those ailments, but I digress. The premium leather uppers and weathered midsole on this batch of Pro Leathers is already makin’ me feel better, anyways!

The Converse Pro Leather OX ‘76 is available now in Japan and should be hitting Cons’ online depot soon.
