Old and New: Air Jordan 2.5 Team White/Varsity Red/Cement Grey

Several Jumpman sponsored hoopers have worn the shoe on-court, including Chris Paul, Ray Allen, Gerald Wallace, and Michael Finley. The team white/varsity red/cement grey/black version of the Air Jordan 2.5 is scheduled to release on January 10, 2009, but pairs have arrived on eBay already.

Nike Terminator High Safari

Source of image: here.

This Nike High Terminator safari is a model meant for Spring 2009. It has Safari patterns for the entire shoe. This new sneaker is sold now at Leaders 1354.

The toe box starts with large circles of the Safari print. The pebbles are in a darker shade of grey with the background in light grey. The mudguard surrounding this toe box uses the opposite; the pebbles of the Safari print are in light grey, with the background in a darker grey. The panels holding the shoe lace holes are made of the same pattern as this mudguard’s design. The plain grey shoe lace complements the Safari print panels.

The midsection has black pebbles on a dark grey background. This is the dark colored Safari print on this shoe and the contrast is striking. The black Nike Swoosh makes a clear statement on the Safari print. The mudguard at the heel repeats the same pattern of the mudguard for the toe box. The Nike logo is proudly embroidered on the Safari print.

The midsole below the toe box has additional “star” shaped treads. After the load of Safari prints, the midsole is plain grey. The outsole is black. This Terminator is a master piece in the use of Safari prints.

Nike Womens Air Force 1 – Varsity Maize

Nike Womens Air Force 1 - Varsity Maize - #1

For the ladies looking to add to their Air Force 1 collection, 2009 is shaping up to be a good year to do just that. Here’s yet another Nike Air Force 1 for women – this time in yellow. Expect the shoes to hit stores in the United States in the final week of January.

The colorway of these kicks features varsity maize and white. While the majority of the shoe is yellow maize, while the white swoosh, lining and outsole stand out in nice contrast. The maize is used in different textures of the shoe, including smooth leather and textured patent, which keeps the overall look from being too bland. These sneakers are set to release in the US on January 24th. Via Sneaker News.

Nike Air Classic BW “Persian Violet”

Source of image: here.

The Nike Air Classic BW will return in Jan. 2009. The website eBay has some ads on these shoes from overseas sellers. This shoe will be officially coming into the US in Jan. 2009. Look for the shoes at Nike website in Jan. 2009.

The toe box is in black canvas. It is boxed in by a black “handle” like frame that forms the panels for the shoe lace holes. A small portion of the lace holes are on a blue colored collar of the ankle. The black shoe lace threaded through the blue collar looks good. The blue accent is seen again in the Nike swoosh and in the midsole. The high midsole of the shoe is extended on the shoe upper by a trick of the design. The blue swoosh and black leather to look fused together as part of the midsole. The midsole carries an image of a lateral inversion of the blue Nike swoosh. The tip of the tongue is blue and the nice blue continues into the inner lining of the shoe.

The outsole has black, blue and white colors. There are rectangle shaped studs in an unusual arrangement. These are rough to provide good grip on the ground. This is a good shoe in a mix of fabric and leather.

Air Jordan Dub Zero – “Cement”

The Dub Zero was Jordan Brand’s first fusion type shoe, and it was a hit. Just like the Cement III’s and IV’s these were modeled after. Cement has become Jordan’s biggest and most famous color way, aside from the Bulls Red, Black and White. However, if you can’t pick up a pair of cement III’s (regular or fusion), IV’s or even the cement phat I’s you can get your cement fix with these Dub Zeros. The midsole feature the beloved gray and black speckled print along with some solid black trimmings. Besides the “cement”, the color blocking on the upper might catch your eye. Usually the shoes on the upper side panels are outlined with the accent color of the color way but this time they went with a little different approach. Instead they’ve colored certain parts of the shoes a dark grey that’ll help you distinguish them from one another a little better, not that you need any help. The Cement Dub Zero won’t officially release until April 09 but grab them early at Marquee Sole.

Creative Recreation Dicoco – Barney’s Exclusive

Creative Recreation Dicoco - Barney’s Exclusive - #1

Creative Rec continues to work with Barney’s on their high-end sneaker releases. These two colorways of the Creative Recreation Dicoco should be available in January.

Creative Recreation shoes are pretty sought-after these days, and I’m sure these makeups will be no exception. But as with the rest of the Barney’s Exclusives, these won’t come cheap. The red colorway features tumbled nubuck in tonal colors. The other version is more subdued in white and vintage cement with black patent accents. Via Creative Recreation.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Phat – black & white colorways

Source of image: here.

Nike Air Jordan 1 Low Phat will be released in the Spring of 2009. This shoe is being made in 2 classic combinations. Nike will release more information in the Spring.

Let’s look at the black colorway first. The toe box is black. Its mudguard is in cement print and this accent looks outstanding. The shoe lace holes are on two panels of grey colored strips. A partial shoe strap meeting at the start of the shoe laces further accentuates this area. The black colored shoe lace continues the look of the black colorway. The heel has a generous panel of cement print. The Nike logos are done in red color and they look outstanding. The white midsole is white and a striking contrast to the rest of the shoe. The outsole is black to complement the white midsole.

The white colorway has a similar design. One obvious difference is that the shoe lace panel is white in color and not grey as in its counterpart. I prefer the black colorway. The colors are good for Spring when the outdoors have mushy soil. The white colorway will be good as an indoor shoe.

If your objective is to turn heads, each of these shoes are more than able to do just that with their fresh spring colors. Nike Zoom Lebron VI – Los Angeles

The above sneaker will be representing The City of Angels in the LeBron VI City Pack due to drop next year. We already showed you the NYC and Miami versions of LeBron’s sixth signature shoe, which did a pretty good job for their respective cities. The LA version is similar to the Athlete version that dropped in October, because of the light grey upper. The upper is actually a mixture of light and dark grey leather and fabric, with a dark grey swoosh outlined in black leather. Near the near you will see LeBron’s Dunkman Logo in white surrounded by five circles filled with five different colors (red, blue, green, orange, and yellow). The midsole is covered entirely in graffiti style writing with LeBron-themed words like; Ohio, Akron, Fearless, and Passion just to name to a few. Catch these in action January 19th when the Cavs head to LA to take on the Lakers. No word on a release date yet. VIA: SN

Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) – Los Angeles

Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) - Los Angeles

The Los Angeles edition of the Nike Zoom Lebron VI (6) debuted yesterday and today new information of the sneaker has been reported. A picture of the Los Angeles model has appeared at Leaders1354 with the boutique claiming that their pair doesn’t feature the controversial multi-colored logo at the heel. The logo quite possibly could have been digitally  produced to make it look like the logo correlates to the sneaker. Furthermore, this Lebron VI is from the personal stash of Leaders1354 and there is no word if it will be released anytime soon.

CLOT x Nike 1World Air Force 1

Source of image: here.

Nike worked with CLOT, from Hong Kong, to give this CLOT Nike 1World Air Force 1. This shoe will be released on Jan. 16, 2009, at Juice in Hong Kong. ACU in Shanghai will also sell this shoe.

The shoe upper is made from Clot Royale Deluxe Silk. This is a textile that is traditionally associated with the Chinese. The textile has embroidered Clot graphics, which are Clot’s trademarked illustrations. These graphics are inspired by Chinese prints that were found in historical documents about 1000 years ago. The red colored upper shoe layer can be peeled off. The second layer underneath is a dark brown leather. The same Clot Chinese graphic prints are now lasered on the leather layer.

The shoe has a sock liner. This is inspired by the traditional green and white paper. The black accents are made in the matte-black leather details and black shoe laces. The white midsole and red outsole complete the look of this sneaker.

Clot and Nike created the special peel off double layer feature to encourage people to search through the superficial, to get inside what lies beneath. This Nike Clot Air Force 1 is sold in a special “Chinese Candy Box.”
